Increased information store size - Not reflecting change after IS restart

I am needing to increase the information store size, because we are currently down. I have updated the size in the registry, verifying I am updating the correct GUID, and restarted the information store service. I run Get-MailboxDatabase -Status | select ServerName,Name,DatabaseSize and it is still showing the old size...
