I am going to be starting one of my first major projects here at work and it is an exchange 2003 to 2010 migration. I know this can be somewhat of a daunting task, but it's one I want under my belt.
I've looked at a couple guides and they are fairly thorough, but I am always looking to up my familiarity. Do you know of any good guides out there? In a perfect world, would you just contract someone to do this job? Would you look to skip 2010 and go to O365 or even make the jump to 2013 once 2010 is in place?
We have a fairly small instance here. Tops 150 mailboxes, one front end and one back end server. Both are on Server 2003 (which will be upgraded to 2012R2). Currently there are no offsite exchange servers and everything is hosted in house.
