Hey guys, we have a Shoretel phone system that can send our voicemails to our email in a .wav file. Recently, it has stopped working and I'm not sure if it is something done at my Exchange server level. The Shoretel server uses a Virtual STMP server under IIS 6.0 to send to my internal IP of the Exchange server who I thought I had given permission to forward out. We use a smart host, MXLogic, to do spam filtering. My firewall could normally see the traffic coming from my Shoretel server on port 25 when a voicemail was sent in an email but now I am not even seeing that traffic being blocked or leaving. Do you guys have any idea on what I can check to troubleshoot this? I have full logging on the Shoretel server SMTP service but I don't understand the log files.
