Prior to my arrival at my new organization they experienced a Mailbox DB issue and lost the everyone's email. The only way they were able to retrieve it was from importing back the local pst copies. They have not touched Exchange since did not want to cause any other issues. So when I arrived I created two new mailbox db A-M and N-Z and moved all the mailboxes off the troubled db. I then performed all the upgrades and rollouts minus SP-3 (ran out of time in maintenance window) after making sure all disconnected mailboxes have cleared from the default db. The default DB still claims 200 GB of the hard drive. I would like to remove it. Are there any issues or concerns I should have prior to deleting this old default db. I currently have it dismounted and not experiencing any issues.
I ran this and did not get anything back:
get-mailbox -database "Mailbox Database" -Arbitration | fl name
