Mailboxes Disconnecting randomly - Exchange 2010

I am running Exchange 2010 in a virtual environment (VMware 4.0/ESXi 4.0).

Approx. 3 days ago, users started complaining about Outlook being disconnected from server. I checked the Exchange server and realized that all the users who complained about the issue were missing from the "Mailbox" container. After a little investigation and running the cleanup utility on the Exchange server the missing mailboxes appeared in the "Disconnected Mailbox" container. However, when I tried to reconnect them, the respective users were nonexistent. Moved back to the "Mailbox" container and interestingly enough, all these accounts re-appeared here too. Meanwhile, Outlook for these users still shows as disconnected.

While doing some more research, I learned that if "Disable" the accounts, I can then move back to the "Disconnected Mailbox" container and reconnect them properly. That did fix the problem - initially. Unfortunately, this did not stop here. Yesterday and today it happened again, and some additional accounts are affected.

Another thing that started happening almost the same time, was users trying to login to their PCs, got this error message: "the trust between this workstation and the primary domain failed", however, if they restarted their computer the problem was gone.

Any chance these two issues are connected? Any ideas? Comments or suggestions?

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated
