I'm kind of out of my depth here - I am more of a company IT contact than any kind of IT professional. Thus, I'm not even sure if I'm asking my question in the right area...
Can anyone advise on ActiveSync for Blackberry Z10s in our situation. We have a server onsite, with Exchange Server 2010, however we don't host our own email - it is hosted by a provider and we have a POP collector which pulls the mail to our server every 60 seconds or whatever (I'm not even sure I'm describing the situation correctly, so if this doesn't make sense let me know).
I have heard that ActiveSync on Z10s can function with our Exchange (without needing a special Blackberry Exchange), however I have heard two different versions:
- it can work as per our current setup, or
- we must set up the email to come directly to our server, eliminating the POP Collector etc.
Does anyone know which (if any) is correct? I'm not technical enough to ask the right question from Google...Many thanks!
