Currently running Exchange 2003 and Server 2003 standard SP2.
We have multiple domains which each person in the firm has several email addresses for ie
basically when we create a new user in AD all the relevant email addresses are created at the same time. However our Marketing team now want distribution groups setting up which go to different teams of people but the prefix of the email address is the same ie
contact@xyz.com is to go to our marketing team
contact@abc.com is to go to our sales team
contact@fgh.com is to go to our complaints team
I can't create the contact@ for separate departments as if I try to create another with a different domain I just get the message 'Windows cannot create the object contact because: The specified group already exists'
Is there a way around this with what we are running currently?
