Exchange sending mail through old DNS

Hello,

After changing name servers for some hosted mail accounts, we are getting mail rejected when trying to send and receive from our Exchange accounts. Getting the following error from the exchange server

sharedXX.accountserver.com gave this error:
Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client
....

The sharedXX listed in the error is the old name server. I can't find anything in DNS or exchange to update for it to point to the new DNS when sending to these accounts. Test from gmail or other hosted emails work fine when sending to and from the hosted accounts. Just can't send to them from these exchange server accounts because it's trying to go through the old dns. Any ideas on what needs to be done?
