Quick question regarding my users Outlook/OWA photos. Company owner just pushed out a new outlook photo he wants applied to all users. Is there a way for me to accomplish this via GPO or Exchange PS? If so, would anyone be willing to point me in the right direction?

Hi, I have a user that gets a CC of about 10 other users outbound and inbound emails, as you can imagine, this create a huge data storage isue for the OST. Currently, I am having to manually Archive the emails at the start of every month to keep the data storage down.
My question is: Is there an auto archive solution, that I can enable and it will automatically auto-archive every 3-months on the Exchange side, and not on the Outlook client side?
Hello everyone. I have recently installed Exchange On-Prem 2019 on my platform. The service itself is working, but I have never been able to access the Admin Panel. When going to the admin panel, the login page loads just fine, but when logging in I either get a forever loading page with a white background (nothing at all on screen), or it immediately returns a 500 HTTP error. I have been doing alot of research on this, and have found 3 main causes, all of which I have already tried.
The first method I tried was adding additional resources. I upped the RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB, upped the CPU cores from 2 to 4, and upped the disk space from 60 GB to 100 GB. While this did make the Windows system itself much faster then before, didn't help with this issue.

Had a wildcard certificate expire and replaced it on the local Exchange 2010 server. When launching Outlook, getting a certificate error that it is expired still. Removed the cert from Exchange server and still getting the error. I'm guessing it is getting it from someplace else, I just don't know where.
DNS for hybrid.domain.com has an internal IP and made sure all the URLs in Exchange 2010 are hybrid.domain.com.
All mailboxes are in the cloud and I have autodiscover set to $null on the Exchange 2010 server.
Mail works fine if you ignore the certificate error. Just want to clean it up.
Running MS Exchange 2007 and clients are MS Office 2007. I tried configuring 2007 for a new email on two different machines and it gives me the error of being unable to match the name to the address list. However, I can see the person's info in the GAL in my own email, which is Office 2010. I tried configuring it on my own machine and it worked. However, I need it on the client's machine to be Office 2007. I have Googled until my fingers hurt! I have cleared the UAC, tried to enter it manually, verified settings, rebooted, closed Outlook/reopened, checked name spelling and I still have this issue. Anyone able to help me out?

all the mailboxes are in exchange online but the client are on office 2013. I need to upgrade to ofice365 but i dont need to lose the outlook setting( send items, cache address book and etc.)
are they all in the ost file. if some how i keep the same ost from 2013 outlook and upgrade to 365 does that mean it will retain the setting and import it to office365 outlook ??

First time, here. Thank you all for many good and/or excellent advices.
As mentioned, I'm having trouble with some Exchange 2013 mail clients. My IT predecessor, used to change users name in AD, instead opening new user, or copy/paste existing one.
After changing firewall from USA 2004 to Cisco, I started getting problems only with that users. For example, my manager is using Iphone, and automatic mail sync works now only by hand and only some times.
For other users that have changed user name i even can't setup exchange account on mobile devices. Everyone else mail and account is working fine.
I know that one of solutions is to backup mail, open new users, redirect old one... etc. It worked well while having ISA firewall, what is problem now. Can it be solved without me telling my manager -no mail-s for you until fix-?

I deployed Exchange 2019 for testing and after creating MX records I can receive emails but not send emails. I believe it is because I did not deploy SSL cert from CA.
Can I make it work through a self-signed cert?
Also, Do I need to buy cert for my domain like xyz.ca, or do I need to buy wildcard cert like *.xyz.ca
Is there any way where I can get free Cert for limited time?

I have an on premise Exchange 2016 server. For some reason internet incoming email has stopped. I tested some outgoing mail that worked so I'm fairly sure it's just inbound.
My exchange database is in dirty shutdown state, I have run below command to replay log files.
C:\>eseutil /r E00 /l "C:\Mailbox Database 123456789\data" /d "C:\Mailbox Database 123456789\data
it started processing & through this error message:
Operation terminated with error -528 (JET_errMissingLogFile, Current log file missing)

I want to confirm one thing if we create a new user mailbox with 1 GB quota so it consumes 1 GB storage instantly on Exchange disks? or it will utilize its storage on exchange disk day by day growth of mailbox?
In other words, it means a new mailbox assigned quota storage on disk would be thin or thick?
Please provide documentation as well if any available.

We run Exchange 2016 on Windows 2016 for our organization and we have three redundant servers.
We are having a serious problem sending email to a specific IP address: 172.65.252.97. This address resolves to a Cloudflare address, which then seems to farm things out to various domains under “registeredsite.com”, which I believe is Network Solutions.
The mail is always rejected with the following error message: 451 4.4.397 – Error communicating with target host. - > 421 4.2.1 Unable to connect - > SocketTimedout: Socket Error code 10060. The only other time I see this error in the queue is when an autoreply is sent to a domain and it is refused, which is not unexpected.
So far the workaround is to send the mail through a SMTP server that we have set...

I have several certificates listed in my EAC 2013. I think we are renewing certificates that we are not using. How can I tell which certificate is applied to Exchange. IIS binding doesn't seem to have a cert name. I asked GoDaddy and they just gave me my autodiscover address.

I’m running into an issue when trying to move a few mailboxes to a new database in my on premises exchange server.
When I try to move the mailbox to the new database the power shell is throwing an error saying the object doesn’t exist on the domain controller.
It’s an exchange 2016 on premises server with 2 domain controllers.
Moving the mailboxes from the standard mailbox database to a newly created database (DB99) on a separate drive to reduce the C drive disk usage.
Using the following command and the mailboxes GUID -
New-MoveRequest -Identity

Throws error:

We are in the process of migrating from Exchange 2010 on-premise to Office 365. The Exchange server is currently in full hybrid mode and the hybrid setup went smooth with no issues. We've migrated a few test mailboxes successfully to Office365 mailboxes but have discovered that the migrated Office365 mailboxes can not send to the Exchange 2010 on-premise mailboxes.
