Hi All,
Were running Exchange 2010 with Outlook 2010 cached exchange mode enabled.
My thinking was that should the email server go offline, outlook should seamlessly transfer into offline mode, and not prompt all users for credentials. However, when the email server did go offline yesterday, everyone got a box pop up asking for their username and password.
Am i correct, and should it transfer into offline mode without prompting for this box, or am i mistaken?
If i am correct, then can anybody point me in the right direction?
I've checked group policy and it's enabled, and in outlook under account settings the cached exchange mode box is checked and greyed out. I'm tempted to think it's something client side, but can't be so sure at the moment, especially as every user got the password box.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan.
