I have a customer that is having an issue with Outlook 2007. Unread messages are showing up with the strike through lines. This customer has to keep a lot of his emails for work purposes and was trying to delete everything from January 2015 back. So now all of those messages are marked for deletion but I cannot purge because of the newer messages that are unread. It seems to just be random new messages, not all. If I open one of the marked messages the strike through goes away but then returns as soon as you close and reopen outlook. Today I decided to see if this could be a problem with GoDaddy since that is where their email is hosted (don't ask me why but they are loyal to godaddy) and discovered that there is not a single strikethrough on any of his 14,000 emails. I am sure this is just some IMAP setting that I am not remembering...
