Hello everyone
I need to move my Exchange 2007 configuration to a new server. It will be the same underlying OS - 2008 R2 and same Exchange 2007.
I want to make it as transparent to users as possible and I'm trying to find all the possible information on how to do it. It will be first time I'm doing it.
My current Exchange 2007 has 3 roles configured: Mailbox, Client Access and Hub Transport.
I have a proper certificate installed.
Can someone give me detailed instructions on how to do it ? Or some good articles. I have my own idea on how to do it but I'm quite nervous about it.
(question like when and how do I have to move public folders, how the CAS will work, if it will be configured on the old server but the mailbox will be moved to a new one, when and how should I install certificate on the second server, when and how to retire the old one).
You know, all the usual questions which will arise while doing it.
On top of that, I need to move my GFI MailEssentials 2012 too so if anyone has experience related to that topic it will be great.
