ion sHistorically, it was standard industry practice to rename user accounts rather than creating new ones. For example if an employee left, rather than deleting the account you would disable the account and when a new employee starts you simply rename all of the information so that the permissions are still in tact and no new SSIDs are created. Well, I tried that and I'm having lingering issues, particularly with Exchange with the previous user's name showing up. For example when she goes to OWA and tries to change the PW the old user ID is populated and cannot be changed. When someone replies to an email the name populates as the former employee's name. Could someone please provide the updated standard industry procedure on re-using domain accounts.
