I have an old Dell Powervault server and spare copies of Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. I decided to setup an AD, DNS, and Exchange server all on the same box (for lack of having multiple boxes and because the server wouldn't handle virtualization well).
Initially I installed the OS, got that running just fine with IIS and everything, and then I created my own domain so I could add Exchange. IIS was having issues during the install, so I had to uninstall it and reinstall it and now Exchange seems to have installed correctly. However, when I try to load the Exchange Management Console, it fails to Initialize with an error of:
Connecting to the remote server SERVERNAME failed with the following error message: The client cannot connect to the destination specified in the request.
