Apologies if this has already been asked somewhere.
We have a client that has Exchange 2010 running on a VPS, but the current VPS provider is horrible, and the client is ultimately looking to move away from them.
However, they would like to be able to roll out BES 10.
Question: Can we deploy BES 10 within our own datacenter environment and have it connect back to the Exchange server that's hosted by the VPS?
We have full control of the hosted Exchange server, but we do NOT have control over the VPS firewall configurations, and site-to-site VPN is not likely to be an option. Opening specific firewall ports and NAT rules should be okay though.
I know there are hosted BES 10 providers out there, so I'm suspecting it's *probably* possible, but not sure if the version of BES 10 that partners get is different from the generally-available version....
