We have a client that last week started seeing a long delay in messages being delivered to anyone with a gmail.com email address. The messages get stuck in the Exchange 2003 server mail queue. It only happens for gmail.com email addresses and eventually (a day or so later) the messages are delivered. Sometimes restarting the SMTP virtual server will allow a couple of messages to get delivered, but not all of them and not every time. Sending via telnet from the Exchange 2003 server works fine every time, so it's not a blacklist or block issue. As far as I know, nothing changed with their Exchange server configuration last week when this started and as I said, they can send to any other domain just fine. Anyone see this with gmail.com before or have any ideas?
