Hi. I have a decommissioned Exchange server that I would like to do only relay functions from one machine on our network.
The system in question sends out notification email whenever it breaks and it can be set up to use an SMTP server but it can't authenticate, so I need an open relay server.
Out of the many services that Exchange runs, which are the ones required to be running to enable relay functionality? I don't want OWA or the mailboxes to be accessible.
