I have a single Exchange 2010 server running on Server 2008 R2. The DC on this network is running 2003 R2 and used to run Exchange 2003. I need to move the entire network to a new subnet range. I tried doing this a few days ago by first changing the IP address on the DC and then changing the IP on the Exchange Server. After doing this the EMC would not open with the following message:
"Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message: The WinRM client received an HTTP server error status (500), but the remote service did not include any other information about the cause of the failure. For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic."
Also, multiple Exchange services were stuck in the "Starting" state. No surprise that email was not working inbound or outbound. I was able to reset the IPs to...
