Our root domain migrated from Exchange 2007 - Exchange 2013. The 2013 Exchange server is no longer using Public folders and the Exchange 2007 server was still at one point replicating with another Exchange 2007 server in the child domains public folders. Long story short, Something was messed up with the replication between the 2 E2K7 Servers public folders and they no longer replicated anymore.
We decommissioned the root 2007 server and ended up having to use ADSI edit to remove the roots public folder store as exchange could not be uninstalled, nor the public folder store and db be removed.
Now, the child domain 2007 server does not need public folders anymore as all clients are using Outlook 2007-2010, so I would like to remove the public folders from this server. Trying to remove the db and or public folder storage group has been...
