We run exchange 2012 and all machines are now running office 2013.
In a nutshell, we do archive any emails older than 6-9 months locally. We do have an archiving program for official review and retention.
The problem comes with these archive folders getting too large over time. I had a solution in place but now I am am told the local archive emails need to stay in the same folder format/list as their regular inbox.
If I were to keep archiving this way, those file would become too large and thus become an issue.
Is there a way to create archive folders by year maybe?
I am just trying to find a solution that keeps these folders in line like they are now yet not grow out of control.
Multiple archive folders would be acceptable. Maybe by year or something?
