I have 2 questions regarding autodiscover in Exchange 2010.

My internal URL is reading as:
https://autodiscover.mydomain.org/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml
Instead ofhttps://exchangeserver.domain.local/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
Couple of things I think this is effecting:
In both Outlook 2007 and 2010, users are prompted for credentials when I test autodiscover. Also, when new accounts are created - they are prompted for user credentials and passwords. This happens even from the internal network.
I was thinking that I would create a new autodiscoverdirectorywith the correct internal/external valuesand delete the old one? Is this possible?
