I have a question regarding dial tone databases and recovery in Exchange 2010 (referring to blopez's blog post from 11/6/2012). Our exchange 2010 setup has users split into 4 mailbox databases, backed up through Windows Server Backup I also have a separate public folder database (which I understand cannot be backed up with Windows Server Backup). My question is will a single dial tone database suffice in this instance, or will I have to create four separate dial tone databases and put the appropriate users in each one? (The four separate mailbox databases were created by an outside consultant assisting in our migration to Exchange 2010 from 2003 since we have 80 users now, with possibly more in the future).
