This is the setup for one of our clients.
A fileserver - which has Exchange 2013
An rdserver - which is their Remote Desktop server with Outlook 2010
Users have been set up in AD and they have their own mailboxes. An additional user account which no one used to log in with was then created to serve the purpose of having a mailbox which everyone in the company had access to.
This is the problem. I log in as the additional user account - let's say its name is USER A. I go into Outlook and see my list of Mailbox folders. I want to give everyone in the company access to USER A's Inbox including any existing subfolders it already has, so I go ahead and right click on Inbox, go to Properties, Permissions and add everyone from the company to have Publishing Editor rights. The permission sticks...but not on any of the Inbox's subfolders or sub-subfolders etc. only on the main Inbox folder.
My question is - how do I get the Inbox permissions to propagate to all its subfolders and any subfolders of a subfolder, through Outlook or Exchange. I have heard of using PFDAVADMIN and using powershell commands but I am not familiar with either.
