So I migrated all my users mailboxes (250+) which took a long time due to sizes and some errors.
I have webmail working, active sync working and outlook clients working.
Now my problem is reverse dns because I received a bounce back from a clients spam blocker. The interesting part of the bounce back was the address it saw
my old server the sending address was
178.10.123.254 and it resolved to mailr.abc.com
My receiving address was:
178.10.123.33 and that resolved to mail.abc.com
I also had webmail on this address:
178.10.123.30 and that resolved to webmail.abc.com
Now on my new server I am running webmail/active sync and email all on one server.
When I sent that email and it bounced back it told me I needed to setup reverse dns for 178.10.123.30
How come my mail is sending from .30 now and not .254?
I have a barracuda spam blocker setup on .33...
