Hey all, hope I can get some leads on aperplexing issue.
Time line:
Thursday: We started to replace a DSL failover line with a wireless cradle and set up a sonicwall High availability. All looked like it wentwell when testing the failover on the sonicwalls andfrom Comcast to Wireless cradle. Emails were still flying around etc. this was at about 3:30PM.
Friday: We noticed we were not receiving any outside emails, and looking into the barracuda all outboundemails were being deferred.Uponlooking closer at our setup and the MX records apparentlysometime pre me we were set up to use the failover DSL line for all external emails, by disconnecting theDSL line for the wireless cradle we essentially severed externalemail. We reverted the HA on the sonic wall andrebuilt the X1 WAN for the DSL and this seemed to get the emails flowing again. In...
