I was doing some testing and jokingly my co-worked asked if he could forge an email from one of our favorite servers to our manager as a joke so I gave him the powershell commands for a send-mailmessage which worked as expected. So from 'server@ourdomain.com' goes through as expected. Then he send one from an unauthorized domain and it went out as well. So then I went.. that shouldn't be. So I can see that our receive connectors allow anonymous users. So not sure if this is the setting I need to adjust? Also theres a 'Client' and a 'Default' receive connector. I still want to permit our internal servers to send from any address for things like backup reports etc. All I really want to accomplish is to prevent our mail server from sending out from any address incase we get a machine inside our network which abuses this.
