Our support group is trying to migrate our users from one domain onto another. So far, with a test user, they were successful in moving the AD account as well as the computer account into the new domain. But when if comes to the mailbox account if claims while migrating the user is not on the new domain. I know that user is there because you can see them in the new domain AD plus I can login from our test laptop as the new user onto the new domain
The original server is Exchange 2010 while the new server is 2012.
As far as I know there are no issues involving rights or privileges.
Has anyone ever done this?
Is their anything special they have to do in preparation?
I really can't answer any really specific questions because I will not have the answers since I am not the one doing this.
