I am trying to setup a new Exchange 2013 server. It needs to co-exist with a fully working 2007 Exchange server for some time until we can get everyone moved over after some sucessfull testing. Were small enough where we only have 1 Exchange 2007 server, and we are rolling out 1 2013 server.
Currently firewall pokes https through directly to 2007 server as it has all roles. So it has external access for its OWA / ActiveSync.
New exchange, when we go live will be funneled through a reverse proxy iis 7.5, as we do today for Lync 2013. I have this setup and working.
Now for testing I have my hosts file altered on my desktop computer to point to the new server for autodiscover, our external owa address and our internal address (webm.domain.com and mail.domain.com). It seems like my Outlook 2013 is getting my mail no issue by proxying through...
