We had a disconnected mailbox that we reconnected to an AD account in Exchange 2010. Now, anytime you attempt to connect a mobile device to this mailbox, you get the response "Unable to verify account information".
I attempted to use the exchange connectivity analyzer for ActiveSync on this account and get the following:
