We are currently testing migration in our test environment. we have made all of the DNS changes and we have migrated all mailboxes to the new server, all went well until we shut down the exchange 2007 server. At that point, when we logged on users that had not been online since the beginning of the mailbox move, they were unable to connect.... either offline if running in cached mode or it could not start outlook error. I found doing a repair from the mail in control panel resolved it; however, I stupidly ran the repair and left no one still broken to test bringing up the 2007 server.....OK.......so my question...could I be confident thatthis just an issue that I need my 2007 server up and running long enough to make the settings changes on my clients before I shut it down (and eventually decommission)?.....or...could I be fairly...
