Due to dirty exchange server shutdown, edb files got corrupt and while accessing corrupt edb files, the Information store crashed and is now prompting this error message “Error 4294966746: JET_errDatabaseInconsistent” We tried to resolve the problem by restarting the Exchange server but still it did not work.
Next, we tried to restore the Exchange database from offline backup but we were not able to restore the data from backup, I don’t know why. Then we run Isinteg utility to perform database integrity check but again the same Jet error prompted. We also tried hard, soft recovery, using Esutil, database defrag(Priv1.edb, pub1.edb) but nothing happened.
Please suggest something to recover the database (Exchange 2007)
