I would like to ask you opinion about something.
About 3 weeks ago i started at this firm. All of the IT related things were done by an external company. There have been several "surprises" over the last 2 weeks.
But now i've come across something that i would like to ask your opinions about. we have a exchange server 2010. But i've noticed that there are some very large mailboxes.
2560932KB, 261960KB,3086212KB,1889574KB,... These are only a few examples. We have about 35 users and a total size of 40GB.
In my opinion these mailboxes are to big so i suggested creating local archives per year. The board of directors found this idea very strange (external company never mentioned anything about it) and to time consuming for the endusers (creating the archive).
Is my opinion that wrong?
