Exchange 2010.
I am currently restructuring our layout of DCs and Exchange servers, and as such am upgrading 2 2008r2 DCs to 2012 Exchange 2010 servers.
All mailboxes currently reside in the database located on EXCH1.company.com. I want to move them too the database on EXCH2.company.com.
The mailboxes all move fine, but my question is, once the moves are completed, how does the Outlook client know which server to look at for the mailbox info?
The profiles have been setup using the EXCH1.company.com server address originally, is it just an automatic thing, or will there be access issues if I was to move all mailboxes to EXCH2 and then take EXCH1 offline?
