I know it's been asked before. I've seen the rants. But, I would really like it if users could update their own GAL entry.
Can this be done safely?
I have always had IT update the AD/GAL, but we get into the same old struggle to get up-to-date information from HR.
If users cannot safely be allowed to edit their own GAL entry, how do you recommend I handle it? I'd love to hear some success stories.
