I have a few customers telling us that they only require TLS 1.2 emails and we are not setup for that. In doing research I found that some steps are easy and some seem pretty involved. So I'm just trying to clear the air.
First I have Server 2008 R2 SP1 running our Exchange server 2010 SP3 RU 25
Second I have installed all the latest updates but 2 of the ones I have read about KB3080079 and KB3154518 are not installed and upon trying to install them they come back as not being applicable to the server. Which seems weird, do I need those 2 updates before I enable TLS 1.2?
Third I read an article that says I need to create 2 registry keys in order to get enable TLS 1.2, if I add these 2 keys and reboot the server and TLS 1.2 is enabled will any of my users running windows 7 using office 2007 or 2010 have any issues with connecting there...
