Hopefully someone could give me some advice!
I'm in the process of migrating mailboxes from Exchange 2003 to 2010. I've moved a few so far but currently a 3GB mailbox has taken about 6hrs (currently 95% through).
My mailbox and also being the Network Admin is the largest at 8GB and over 200k mail items. Based on the time it's taken to do the 3GB mailbox i'll be doing mine last which makes sense.
However i'm concerned about the amount of time it will take, i'm sure the mailbox will move but can someone help me answer the following questions:
1) how long do you think it will take to move my mailbox?
2) is there a way to take my mailbox offline and and remove a load of mail and reattach the mailbox
3) is there a way i can setup a new mailbox by some method of detaching the current mailbox in and recreating it and attaching my old mailbox to a new user?
4) I have the OST on my PC so maybe option 4 would be good?
