Office 365 and Exchange 2013 SMTP

Hi,

I have a strange issue. I've inherited an environment and the way things are setup seem a little messy.

We have Office 365 hybrid setup with Exchange 2013.

SMTP runs through Exchange 2013 and has an address of hybrid.domain.com.au, we have a DNS zone for domain.com.au generally the SMTP works fine.

However, this is where my issue is. The email addresses are user@anotherdomain.com.au we have an DNS zone for anotherdomain.com.au. The queue in Exchange has a bunch of emails stuck for anotherdomain.com.au with the following error.

[{LRT=23/05/2018 3:48:06 PM};{LED=441 4.4.1 Error encountered while communicating
with primary target IP address: "Failed to connect. Winsock error code: 10060,
Win32 error code: 10060." Attempted failover to alternate host, but that did not
succeed. Either there are no alternate hosts, or delivery failed to all...
