Hopefully, someone here knows more about this than me..
I am trying to figure out the "issues" with using LCR on a Public Folder Storage Group and its Database.
I have a single Exchange 2007(SP3) server in this office-organization.
Looking at the PF "replication" for the default subfolders, it seems that it has itself listed???
BUT...the schedule is set to Never Run..?
Local Continuous Replication is currently NOT enabled for the Public Folders Storage Group...(we do run regular backups.)
I just want to know if I can use LCR for this.
Based on my research, it seems that i can use it IF... there is not another Exchange server in this org.
(We have two offices and there is another Exchange server in that office, BUT, they are two different "organizations".)
I just had a MS tech support person say that it cannot be done...
Does anyone know if there any issues?
P.S. I'm curious...what would happen if I used LCR for Public folders and there was another Exchange server in the same org?
Thanks!
Russell
